Anyone who steps foot into our studio is welcomed into a warm and fun environment and will experience nothing but fun and a big smile on their face! You don’t need to be an advanced artist to have a good time, with our teachers offering plenty of support and instruction for everyone looking for an unforgettable entertainment experience.

Kia Ora! My name is Lizzie and I’m the Events and Marketing Coordinator for Hutt Valley, in other words your personal event planner!
I have lived in the Hutt Valley most of my life, it’s home for me and I love everything about it. The Hutt Valley offers so many different cultural experiences, beautiful landscapes, and amazing people.
As our studio here in Petone is the only one in the Wellington region, our gorgeous studio invites you to experience the best of the Hutt Valley from our beautiful sip and paint experience.

- Where are you located?

Our Pinot & Picasso Hutt Valley studio is located on the corner of Cuba Street and Jackson Street, down the road from Domino’s.
- Can I purchase alcoholic beverages near the studio?

We recommend Liquor King and Merchants Liquor Petone which are both a short distance from the studio!
- Are there local restaurants and bars nearby?

There are many great options nearby but some of our favourites include Flint Social, Sprig & Fern Tavern, Mexico, and Buddha Stix Wellington.
- Do you offer catering?

We recommend grazing boxes from Blue Carrot Catering.
- What are your parking options?

We recommend parking in side streets near our sip and paint in Hutt Valley.
- What time should I arrive and how long are the sessions?

We recommend arriving at the studio 10 minutes before the session commences as to give you plenty of time to get comfortable, set up, and get the wines flowing. The estimated running time is between 2 – 3hrs.
- If I come with a friend, will we be sitting together?

We will always do our best to ensure that groups are placed together.
If you and your friends are booking separately, it’s best to arrive a little earlier to ensure we can seat your group together. We like to operate under the mantra ‘first in best dressed’ when it comes to seating in our sip and paint studios.

We like to keep our arty parties fun and exciting. Whether you choose to dress up, make your sip and paint a theme, or just attend for a date night on the weekend we expect you to wear what feels comfortable. As our experience does involve paint (shocking! I hope we mentioned this earlier) we do encourage you to not wear anything you would be disappointed if paint ended up on. Or couldn’t be dry-cleaned. Our artists will provide you with aprons to wear during the session to minimise any accidental paint mistakes.
- Is there a fridge & glassware?

Yes, our Pinot & Picasso studios all have a fridge inside their studio to keep drinks cold! We also have glassware too so no need to bring plastic cups!
