Kia ora! I'm Rachel, the studio manager for the Pinot & Picasso Hutt Valley studio. I recently moved from Brisbane in Australia to Hutt Valley and instantly fell in love with the sights and the culture.
Hutt Valley offers many unique experiences in a close vicinity. From the beach, to the city, to stunning mornings with low cloud resting over the hills, it's truly a beautiful area. New Zealand, particularly Hutt Valley, fosters a family orientated and genuinely personable community combined with an adventurous and creative culture.

- Where are you located?

Our Pinot & Picasso Hutt Valley studio is located on the corner of Cuba Street and Jackson Street, down the road from Domino’s.
- Can I purchase alcoholic beverages near the studio?

We recommend Liquor King and Merchants Liquor Petone which are both a short distance from the studio!
- Are there local restaurants and bars nearby?

There are many great options nearby but some of our favourites include Flint Social, Sprig & Fern Tavern, Mexico, and Buddha Stix Wellington.
- Do you offer catering?

We recommend grazing boxes from Blue Carrot Catering.
- What are your parking options?

We recommend parking in side streets near our sip and paint in Hutt Valley.
- What time should I arrive and how long are the sessions?

We recommend arriving at the studio 10 minutes before the session commences as to give you plenty of time to get comfortable, set up, and get the wines flowing. The estimated running time is between 2 – 3hrs.
- If I come with a friend, will we be sitting together?

We will always do our best to ensure that groups are placed together.
If you and your friends are booking separately, it’s best to arrive a little earlier to ensure we can seat your group together. We like to operate under the mantra ‘first in best dressed’ when it comes to seating in our sip and paint studios.

We like to keep our arty parties fun and exciting. Whether you choose to dress up, make your sip and paint a theme, or just attend for a date night on the weekend we expect you to wear what feels comfortable. As our experience does involve paint (shocking! I hope we mentioned this earlier) we do encourage you to not wear anything you would be disappointed if paint ended up on. Or couldn’t be dry-cleaned. Our artists will provide you with aprons to wear during the session to minimise any accidental paint mistakes.
- Is there a fridge & glassware?

Yes, our Pinot & Picasso studios all have a fridge inside their studio to keep drinks cold! We also have glassware too so no need to bring plastic cups!
